Power Usage and Charging Requirements

Once fully charged, the ILA can run for 3-5 hours with constant use. In sleep mode, the ILA can maintain charge for a few days.

The ILA Pro and Roam are sent with two USB-C charging adapters and two USB-C cables.  We recommend that the charging adapters that came with the ILA be used, as the tablet can be particular with older chargers.

We recommend that the ILA be left plugged in to facilitate quick usage, or at least be charged regularly to avoid issues.  For the ILA Pro, please utilize the the right-angle USB-C cables that shipped with the ILA as that will allow the A-Frame to stand upright more easily.

If you are experiencing issues with the ILA charging, please review this checklist:
  1. Charge the ILA with the cables and adapters that were sent with them.
  2. Plug them directly into a known good wall outlet.
  3. Leave them plugged in overnight.
  4. Next morning, hold the power button for 10 seconds.
  5. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to see if powers on in that time.
