ILA devices do not record or store conversations. Conversations are not recorded, held or used by TranslateLive servers. The data we do store is usage data and account information data, which is all encrypted on Google Cloud Servers.
ILA device connections to cloud servers are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS 1.3 with minimum SHA256 bit encryption.
When under our MDM, we push updates and patches after they have been tested. We also have the devices locked down in Kiosk mode so people can’t use them for anything else which reduces the risk of any vulnerability, discovered or undiscovered.
When using the ILA for AI translation and transcription it uses:
- Port: 443
- To Domain: 123ila.com
If connecting to a Live Interpreter from the device, the following ports must be opened:
- Domain: ilavri.com (IP Address 34.72.63.84)
- STUN: 13478-13479 UDP and TCP
- WebRTC Web Socket: 8443 TCP
- HTTP and HTTPS: 80, 443 TCP
- RTP: 16384-17384 UDP
Special provisions may need to be made on the
firewall to allow wireless devices to gain access to the internet. The ILA MAC addresses may need to be whitelisted and we can assist with
getting that information to your IT Department. The ILAs also use
Mobile Device Management for updating, and that may also need
whitelisting, so please let us know if that information is needed as well.
