How to create phrases

Phrases can be added to your ILA Host to send over to the ILA Guest to be translated into their selected language.
These instructions are meant for the instances you need a few short statements that are only needed on one device.
We recommend that you contact support@translatelive.com for larger phrase projects.  We can accommodate large questionnaires and forms that need to be filled out and apply them to either a few ILAs or every ILA.

Tap on the Gear icon in the upper right corner to bring up the ILA settings.

Tap on phrases in the bottom left corner to access the Phrases menu.

Tap on the Plus.

Tap on the "Select String Type" drop down menu.

For this example, tap on "Category" to create a group of phrases for a common purpose (such as questions from a form).

For this example, we'll create Greeting phrases.  Once the category is named, tap OK.

It will take a moment to save any phrase to the ILA.

Tap on the Plus button again to create the new Phrase, and this leave it on Common Phrases under String Type, but be sure to select the correct Category.
Once done, hit OK to save the Phrase to that Category.

To access the Phrases in a translation session, tap on the Book symbol on the Host side.  (This is not visible on the Guest side, only accessible on the Host).

Tap on the arrow to expand the new category you created, Greetings in this example.

Tap on the "Play" or "Paper Plane" icon to send the message to the Host.  The last message sent will appear at the bottom.

And there it is, the message appears in the conversation!
